if poked with speaker wire and fishing hook?

hi,i was helping someone hook up a car sterio and u know how them wires prick your fingers allmost like a needle,and he may have got poked allso before me and allso i going threw the trunk i may have got stuck with a fishing hook,and he may have to i cant rember that day it was no big deal i think he may got poked with the hook im not sure about me but if so it was 5 to 10 min till i did if i did.then i found out 3 weeks later he has hiv..thats when i tryed to think if there was any time that i could be exposed,and i rembered that day i wish i knew then i would have been more careful and would have treated it.only if i could rember if i got hooked or if he got hooked after me,well does anyone know if hiv cant spread outside the body does it really stop infecting after exposed to air,like they say ,if so how long before your safe hours or sec? im so worried people tell me take test but its to scary and to soon anyway if you can get it this way  then if you work in a sterio installing place with a hiv person your bad...or if you go fishing with some one with hiv u will sooner or later gone get poked..

u really dont want to answer the question knowing it would take the last thing on my mind at ease ,its not the same question becuse it is the nose i would think becuse of the membrains it would be nice to here that the nose is the same.

im asking because his wife had a cut and keeped daping at it with a napkin and she handed me a bill and what if she had some blood on the note as she handed it to me and i used it?
