Need Advice on HIV Exposure Risk

5 days ago, I was traveling on business. I got very drunk and foolishly had sex with a white call girl. She brought the condom with her and promptly placed in on me before giving me light oral. Then had vaginal sex for a few minutes. Upon changing positions, I found a 1/2-1" split in the side of the condom near the base. It had been intact until this point. The tear exposed the side of my penis (completely intact skin), but the head and foreskin was never directly exposed inside her vagina. I don't know exactly when it split, but I do not think it was long before I noticed. It might have even been when I went to put it back in her after withdrawal. I just don't know.

I pulled off the condom and she asked if I had another one. After confirming that neither of us had a condom, the episode ended. There was no more vaginal intercourse. I did stroke my penis with my hand a couple of times and showered thoroughly about 20 min later.

The escort was about 22 yo, and looked like a typical girl you'd find in a strip club (blonde, fairly attractive and thin but basically healthy looking). She did not provide any sexual contact without the condom, and when it happened she said "That's never happened before." She was fairly expensive, $200 for what amounted to about 30 minutes. At one point I had asked her if I could finger her and she said "no".

I am very, very fearful because of the break. I have been in a monogamous relationship for 14 years and this is the first and only time I will EVER be unfaithful. I have never done drugs or participated in homosexual sexual contact. I work with statistics for a living and have calculated the probability of infection and it appears small, but I am still terrified. I don't expect any sympathy, just a risk assessment from someone with expertise in these matters. Thank you.

Thank you, Teak. Is a test still clinically warranted? I know I should have one to be sure, but I have seen Dr. HHH sometimes say he doesn't even recommend it. I am certain the head and foreskin were never exposed inside of her. Unfortunately I have been "symptom chasing" for the last 5 days. Is it more likely I caught something else, like Ghon, Chlym, Herpes, etc? I have had no real symptoms to date. Just imaginary ones.

As long as the head of your penis was covered, you never had an exposure.
