Just wondering, Is there a lymph node on the back of your leg, near the top way above the knee? Like just under your buttox?
The ones in your mouth I think you are talking about are Lingual Tonsils
The ones to either side of the Adam's apple 'cervical nodes' swell due to a a whole load of things the majority of them not HIV. Common colds, flus, dental abcess, dental bacteria, pollution, smoking........
Lymph nodes hurt if they swell quickly or are very swollen.
If those are the only swollen nodes then it probably is due to a local infection.

swollen and PAINFUL??? Teak said ARS nodes....do not hurt, as mine did. SO they do or they don't? Do they decrease after all? (mine did after 3months).

u know something...when i had my hiv scare..which lasted fro 3 and a half months....during the peak of my worries...i used to discover swollen lymph nodes everyday..then i used to go on the net..to see if they are real nodes..etc..etc...dont do this...it will turn u mad....i was seeing a doc at that time and he used to tell its not a node...but in my deep i will not believe it...so forget bout nodes..if ur concern and had a real risk..do a test...
Only a Doctor can diagnosw Lymph Node swelling. If they were really swollen or painful you'd know about it.

Shows the Lymphnodes in Question, but are the deep ones on your dorsal side? YOur buttox? Or are they also on the front , the diagram does not say, and I cannot tell from any definition or anything. Would you feel a swollen or sore lymph node under your butt from this group, or somewhere on your frontal side?

yeah i have googled it. I see the diagrams which show where the lymph nodes are located. But first of all, all the diagrams just show a frontal view of the lyph nodes/ lymphatic system. You cant tell if theres any on the back side of the body at all from diagrams or through anyother search pertaining to lymph nodes. Second No google searches with buttox or upper thigh + Lymph nodes has any results, while under armpit + lymph node does have results. So thats why i was wondering if there is one there or not, i cannot find a sufficiant answer from goole.
