Thank you! It has been a long six months!
"Six month post exposure (or 5 month post pep completion) negative hiv 1/2 antibody screen."
You are HIV negative!
My employers guidelines are up to a year post exposure. I think a bit outdated but, i dont make their rules. I will go for my year post exposure test, but i would like to know if my test are conclusive and the last test is for insurance purposes only, or if i need it to rule out hiv.
So i am conclusively negative then? My last test was at six months post exposure or 5 months post pep. Thanks.
You can obtain your conclusive test 3 post your last dose of nPEP. You'll need to follow your employer's bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
