testing

I had vaginal sex with girl unprotected.  3 weeks after I had diarrhea, abdominal pain, pain and tenderness under arms, fatigue. I tested negative for hiv at 4 weeks. are these signs of ars and if I got tested  would the test come back positive during these symptoms?

Your symptoms aren't consistent with ARS, not to mention that HIV status can not be determined (or even guessed about) using "symptoms".

Your 4 week negative is very reassuring.  IF indeed your "symptoms" were HIV related, your test taken after the onset of the symptoms would most likely have been +.

We recommend testing until 3 months post exposure for a conclusive result.  The odds are in your favor, and it looks like everything is going to turn out fine for you.

In the future, insist on condoms for any vaginal or anal sex.

.3 months post exposure is when you can obtain a conclusive test result.
