oraquick otc

hello, last january 4, i was having receptive anal sex in a bath house and the guys condom broke. i was very worried but i didnt do nothing for a long time. i started looking online a couple of weeks ago and got really scared because i had nightsweats that soaked my bed and i read that happens when someone has hiv.

two weeks ago, i went to the pharmacy and saw they have hiv tests, the oraquick home tests i bought one of the tests, took it home and i tested negative.  but i saw that there are a few false negatives that occur with this test. today, i found this forum and decided to ask my questions.

1)  i dont know what to believe from what i read online. some places say 6 months conclusive, others 3.  my test was taken a week shy from 5 months.  do i need to take another test?

2) it worries me to see oraquick talking about false negatives. can i trust my one test?  or do i need to take more?

3) im married, but have marital problems and havent had sex with my wife.  but this whole experience has made me open my eyes and i want to make sure that if we can work on our problems, she wont be at risk.

please help me. thank you very much
