A 7 week test is almost a sure result. Some people still are stuck on the old stuff like 1 year out. Thats outdated. Your 7 week negative isnt going to switch positive but go back anyway for the 13th week for a true conclusive result.
it really doesnt matter at this point, does it??? you are 13 weeks post exposure...just get your test done and put this behind you.
nope, not to the 13 week mark yet...I am at week 8
a 7 week test is more than 95% accurate in some places like Australia and Massachusets a 6 week test is considered conclusive, some of the people working at the testing places didnt did their homework on reading the CDC or state health guidelines, the say that the vast moyority (95%) would have detectable antibodies by 4 -6 weeks, your negative test at 7 weeks, plus the risk of unprotected vaginal sex 1/2000 plus the chance that she probably didnt have hiv becouse the US prevalence of HIV on women is 0,2% your overall chance to test positive in the 13 week test is 1 in 20 millions. so dont be so fustrated just take your test at 13 weeks and then forget about this.
Good luck
It just seems like they want to make sure you learned your lesson and are not willing to give you any hope that my 7 week test is a strong indicator.
