Thank you very for your answer. I was under the impression that if the blood from an infected person came into contact with an abrasion on your skin imediately after it came out of the persons body, there was a possibility if infection.
How was it not a risk? I mean if this eprson had HIV and his blood came into contact with a cut on my hand it is a risk of possible infection
You NEVER had a risk and NEVER needed testing
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
