just an update to those of you who were worried about recieving oral sex like myself. I rang the HIV  testing and counselling team in my area of the UK to book a test around the 8 week after exsposure mark. I explained what risk i THOUGHT i was exsposed to.(RECIEVING ORAL SEX)They told me that they WOULD NOT test me as recieving oral IS NOT A RISK OF HIV. The lady i spoke to has been testing for 11 years and never had a case through recieving oral sex.

Thanks for all your advice Teak,Vance Lizzie etc, hopefully i will stop worrying about no risk situations and not relate any illness i may get to HIV like all off us worried wells do. The lady on the phone said i had the perfect virus, all the symtoms that i read about i had on the perfect timescale when it could really be anything which a catholic nun could get. You cant base your  status on symtoms alone, you have facts which tell you if you had a risk or not. If you had a risk there are tests which will tell you 100%. thanks again all of you...

Dude i had bjs from the nastiest girls and many of em and never caught anything saliva will not expose you to hiv unless the girl has alot of blood and you have a wound on the penis.

The reason it happens during vaginal is because the penis is exposed to alot of vaignal fluid and its being squeezed alout so it exposes penis hole bjs doent work that way.

I have read all the advice that you have given and have decided to stop taking PEP, as i agree there is no risk in catching HIV from this incident. I hope that i do not continue to worry. As Dr Hook said to me what is the point in trying to minimise zero risk. Thanks every one.

Im so confused and sorry for posting another question. The sexual health clinic tell me its low risk and therefore i feel as though i should take this PEP, to lower it down to no risk. The other side of me doesnt want to take it because it makes me feel terrible and deep down i want to believe all of your advice. Im worried that if i stop taking it i will feel better for a few days and then think i wish i had kept going. Teak how long would i get these PEP sytoms for?
So many different opinions which are driving me mad and confused.
