sharp edge

Hello deer experts,

I was working with my worker in my shop . when we were working on one tube , tube was broken , my worker's finger was scratched and bleeding . and my finger scratched also with same tube and bleeding . i want to know if this is a risk if his blood on the broken tube and i then scratch my finger with same spot ? would you pls explian to me .

You should be sleeping and not worrying because you never had a risk,Hiv is so fragile outside it's host that it becomes damaged in seconds and is unable to infect you.I believe Teak has already explained this to you.Get some sleep.All the best.

hello Teak , I just read one airticle and he saids a swallow needle will transmit HIV. but what did this to us is a tube , awallow , with 2-3mm hole ,it is made of glass , it is tube for gas detecting . this made me very paranoid , is this very risky ?  I can not sleep at all ,pls kindly explain to me . thank you !

i can not remember if we have blood to blood contact , in case of this ,is it still so much risk ? thank you

Not a risk concern at all. HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
