should i be worried

i went along with my friend today who we found out injected drugs - we had to go to some kind of rehab center where i guess there are many other drug addicts, anyways while sitting there i dropped my pen - so started to try and find it under the chair, whilst doing so i felt a poke- looked at my hand and saw a tiny red dot! i didn't think much of it could have been a pin or something - but then i though what if in fact it was a needle attached to a syringe etc.

Im kinda worried now - lets say for arguments sake it was a needle not knowing where it came from or how long it had been there am i at risk of infection. It could have been there 24hrs- to 1 min i just don't know.

it poked me on my right hand in line with my middle finger- where the vains show?

please help very worried thanks

You can't get mouthwash into a rehab center let alone a needle and syringe.

No I am not going to say for arguments sake because a rehab center is not going to have syringes just lying around.
