Hi frns! I had unprotected vaginal and oralsex with a prostitute and after next two days i am feeling stressed and had some pain in my joints and arms..so i started to google about looking for the symptomps of getting hiv..After studying in google i am ferling like all the sypmtomps of hiv .. so i need ur suggestion guys is it due to my depression and can anyone get so quick symptomps..

Symptoms appear at 2-4 weeks after exposure during the process of seroconversion , only 55-70% people have symptoms, so symptoms are actually meaningless to look for. Its your anxiety that's making you notice even the smaller details. However, Symptoms DON'T appear after a day of exposure it takes weeks. Window period for 4th gen tests is 28 days, whereas that for antibody only tests are 12 weeks.

i feel you sj_88 we have the same. it's just that my symptom is just headache and my girl said yes instantly going to test the hiv

i am so streesed. its been 12 days of my exposure and could not able to get sleep. The next day of my exposure i met that girl and she told me that she is hiv-ve. I am waiting for my test. how about doing a test in 14 days? Since my exposure  every morning and whenever ii started to think about that incident my muscles and joints started to paining.. Is it a symptoms or due to excessive thinking? I have now cough but not fever... so worried
