I have been in a relationship with 1 guy since September 2010 and have had unprotected sex with him for the entire time. I have gotten tested for HIV three times since we have been together, and all test were negative. July 29, 2011 I had unprotected sex with another guy. At the end of August 2011 I began to have a yeast infection that did not go away and went to the doctor for STD testing. All results were negative. The doctor gave me a prescription that was supposed to cure the bacteria infection; the symptoms got better, but are not totally gone. I was told to come back after 3 months to get tested again. Am I just being paranoid? If I was experiencing symptoms of HIV, wouldn't the virus show up on the test?
