still worried about HIV infection

Is a 6 month Duo 2nd generation HIV test conclusive.. I have read that there are cases when people go beyond the 6 month window period. I only ask because i developed a rash - maculopapular all over chest and back three weeks after unprotected encounter. it lasted for three weeks. I developed chanchers at the end of the rash. The doctors all say it was just Syphllis( been treated for that ) but yet no doctor can explain how the rash came before the chanchers...They say thats impossible but i had no chanchers.. So i continue to worry that was an HIV rash and the test are just not picking up the antibodies.. Should i have a PCR test now at 7 months.. My 3 month test at the doctors and  6 months Home access HIV test were both negative... Thank you

I would trust those test results.  It's possible that your anxiety is causing a rash, or that it could be another STD, ....I don't know much about a home access test but maybe just have a doctor do another test.  I'd say two negative test results are a good sign for sure.

Not a such thing as a 2nd generation DUO test. No you don't need to test at 6 months. Three months is conclusive.
