A condom that doesn't protect you is the one that's visibly torn. If you didn't see it torn, then no HIV risk for you that way.
Even if you had HIV risk that way (that is, your condom was torn that day), that Elisa antibody test result is very unlikely to be a false negative.
No further testing required, whatever you're suffering from has nothing to do with HIV if it wasn't broken.
Thx rick so all my symthomps is not ars.
Today is my 12week I've just got my result from rapid test base on a lab it also negative, can I relax?
Sure, you conclusively don't have HIV.
But 3month marks is 13.is it got different 12 or 13 I just want tot test it again.
Anyone please advice 12or 13 is conclusive?
1 month is made up of 4 weeks, now how many weeks does one get when he multiplies it by three?
Oke I think is conclusive thank you.if people is high risk also 12weeks is conclusive?
12 weeks is conclusive for everyone, low risk, high risk, makes no difference.6 months is an old outdated window period that was used back in 2003.Its 2011 now.For the last time--your safe--you don,t have hiv.
why is webmd suggest this threads
"After the original infection, it takes between 2 weeks and 6 months for antibodies to HIV to appear in the blood. The period between becoming infected with HIV and the point at which antibodies to HIV can be detected in the blood is called the seroconversion or "window" period. During this period, an HIV-infected person can still spread the disease, even though a test will not detect any antibodies in his or her blood"
Testing is often done at 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months after exposure to find out if a person is infected with HIV
That information is outdated!
Your test is the final and you do not have HIV!
Try to move on.
1.Because they don,t know what their talking about and 2.They need to update their information. How many people have excepted their negative test results at 3 months, the answer would be millions. Why can,t you.Any website that says test out to 6 months needs to update their information because they are providing wrong and outdated data and causing people like you to worry for nothing.
thank you,i just had a gonorhea and i dont know how can this kind thing transmitted to me but i have no discharge.and im worry to death i use a condom penetration but i dont use a condom for oral, that's why i just received a doctor says to me that i must test again 6month mark i will die waiting at 6month is just like 6years.
and do everyone in this forum see a negative 12weeks turn out to change in 6month?
A negative test result at 12 weeks has never then become positive at 24 weeks--6 months since the mid 90,s.It doesn,t happen anymore, ever.
Are u sure?are u a doctor?sorry I just keeping stress I develop many syhmtoms to ars.
Can I confident now with all my test?

You were given your assessment move along.
Your testing clearly shows that you do not have HIV, you can move on from this incident and put it firmly behind you.
Kudos for using condoms, continue to do so correctly and consistently and you will remain HIV negative.
