Well you had no risk to begin with and your tests prove that you don't have HIV.
Thanx vance. I want to tell you that the gap between me and the postive man is just maybe 5 to 10 second. And the nurse touched the needle carelessly and she didnt change the gloves. And I dont know why she cleaned the needle with cotton mixed with alcohol. I asked all nurses in my city about that procedure they told me it is not normal procedure and we trained to not touch the needle.
I'm sorry, but what you say makes no sense. If things were as you described them, you would have never let her draw your blood. How would you know the patient before you's HIV status anyway?
firstly the clinc is specializes in diagnosing hiv people . And while i was waiting for drawing blood... the man asked the nurse a question I didnt listen to his question .. but he answered her thats mean ur blood reacted with the solution and u r positive...
please answer me nursegirl .. my mind burning in these days because after few months i gonna travel to usa.. and they will test me for hiv and if they found me postive .. they will not let me travel to there...
1/how conclusive my result???
2/is sexual exposures window period are the same needle stick injuries window period?? Because i heard needle stick injuries take long time for postive result maybe 1 year or more
Sorry for writing wrong... but she answered him that mean ur blood reacted with the solution and u r postive*****
You are HIV negative. As Vance said you never had a risk to begin with. Your EXTREME over testing proves it.
Even if she had injected you with HIV positive blood, (which she clearly did not) your test results show that you are clearly HIV negative, you can move on with no fear.
Best Wishes
James
NO health care worker would say something like that to a patient. There is a whole diagnostic process that involves a confirmatory test.
Sorry, I just am not buying it....I think this is anxiety driven "what if" questions. If not, talk to the clinic.
I talked to the clinic. They said to me there is no way to be infected with hiv by this way.. and they said they use new needles to every patients...
And am not lying he is postive man am very sure...
You dont see my results are conclusive???
And I want to tell you how did I know he is hiv positive... the nurse said to him that ur blood reacted with solution and thats mean u r positive... and the nurse said to him a story thats there is a man infected with hiv since 1990 and he is still alife today......
From this points what u guess???
And do you recommend to me further testing?? Or my test are enough
