unprotected intercourse feel symptoms

Hello all,

24 days ago i had an unprotected vaginal sex with a woman i met. Im not sure of her status at the moment. Before the intercourse occur  i asked her but she said she was fine. I should have known better not to trust anyone specially when it comes to this scary virus, since many dont even know their status. 10 days later i was feeling the ARS symptoms. headache swollen glands in the neck, diarrhea, nausea, itchy skin what maybe rash and night sweats. I hear all symptoms come at once so this clearly a scary sign. I caleld to ask her but she said she is not infected and tested rcently. Reading online about these symptoms has only left me to believe that i have contracted the virus. I have got tested at 3 weeks negative, but i know thats too early. Plan to test at 8 weeks at this time only left to conclude that i have a slim chance and just pray i can make it through.

You are right! the symptoms do vary in different people. But when it  occurs it happens  all at once. Fever along with nightsweat, nausea, and fatique happening all at once seem to give a distinct sign that this would be likely ARS.

You can't go by symptoms with ARS. There are no specific symptoms.

The rash was easy to miss as it seems to be slightly itchy but did notice red raised bumps in the arms, parts of kneesand chest areas. Even if rash is not there, all other symptoms were more visible. Felt like a light fever, headache, nightsweat, and sharp stomach pain.

Your symptoms are not indicative to ARS. You can test 3 months post exposure to obtain a conclusive result.
