Why were you advised by your doctor to have western blot at 12 months?Doesn,t make any sense. You should have had an antibody test at 3 months and if positive, then you should have had a western blot to confirm the positive antibody test..

It is very difficult for me to believe that some doctor advises testing after 12 months. e.g. If someone is HIV + that means that one years of his life have already passed, and that person still do not know his HIV status.

All antigens that you mentioned here (P55, P66, P51) are already detectable after 3-4 weeks with the WB tests. I do not know where your doctor find a period of 12 months....

If you did not had a test, take it now. Every test will do the job and at this time WILL TELL YOU your HIV status.

None of those bands equal a positive hiv result and you should never have been given a Western Blot test to begin with. Western Blot tests are confirmative tests. 3 month post exposure is when you can obtain your conclusive test result.
