urine

I had a possible exposure to hiv a week ago.  yesterday a urinalysis found protein in my urine so he ordered some more routine blood tests.  Is it possible that I was infected, and in just a week excess protein could show up in my urine?

The urine tests aren't related in any way to HIV.  You didn't have a risk.

That's the problem, I get a lot of different answers.  Doctors always 'qualify' their comments by saying 'low risk'.....drives me crazy

Your exposure was not "almost" zero risk...it was no risk!

I am also having mild stomach pain for several days now.  He put me on zantac but it doesn't really change the feeling that much.  I know it could be stress related, but I am just trying to rule out the WORSE case scenarios.

Why?  proably because Im a worry-wart....The exposure was a handjob with semen touching lips.  I know its almost zero risk, just freaking me out.
