blah blah blah get over it and just take the test we will not continue to help you here last warning
continue seeing a therapist...there is nothing that we can do for you here.
So symptoms at 10 weeks is too late for ARS and too early for HIV symptoms? The post nasal drip still hasn't resolved and it has been three weeks I don't remember having something like this for so long. It's more than three months since the incident, I cannot move on because of this and I am too cowardly to go for testing because I'm scared of false positives and the reliability of the lab here (they mixed up my results before with someone else's). This situation that I'm in is just horrible, I cannot focus on other things and I think I'm going slowly insane. I've already sought mental help. Just don't know what to do anymore...
Because they don't take the medications like they are suppose to. If you take the medications like prescribed. You do your labs and Dr. visits it's possible you won't ever get advance HIV disease and you will live almost a normal life. There is no doubt that the medications can and do reek havoc on some, but that doesn't happen always. I don't have any problems with the medication I'm on now.
like you said a silly question and has no value on this forum
Ok, so a silly question; why do some people become ill much faster, and even die much sooner? I know you cannot exaplin this, but perhaps guess...
I got Histo in 2005. After 21 years being positive.
Teak, when did you first become ill, from HIV, after how many years?
If you have post nasal drip anytime isn't indicative of ARS or HIV. Do you know what a rapid progressor is? Why do you all think that people with HIV get some kind of progressive illness. Do you know that most people that have HIV have jobs and work a 40 hour week? You need to get over these symptoms and illnesses frenzies. I've have had an OI for 3 years and yes I was very ill. I'm no longer ill and I'm back working. That's with a CD4 of 147. So don't think that if you get HIV that you are always sick with one thing or another.
Dont worry about symptoms, the only way to know if you have HIV is geting tested, doesnt matter if you got symptoms at 2weeks, 6 weeks, 2 years, 15 years, ect. if you test negative after the 3 months window period, you are hiv negative. the symptoms are unreliable since 50% of hiv positive people didnt recall any symptoms during seroconversion.
So let's say someone has symptoms 2 months and two weeks after exposure. It can't be caused by HIV unless they're a rapid progressor right? And if they were a rapid progressor symptoms would get worse and more serious? I already asked on the doctor's forum but I just wanted more opinions, thank you all.
i really think there are alot of ppl that dont truly know the difference between having hiv and aids. that is apparent when they are listing their "symptoms" too.
No people with HIV don't usually have any more infections than anyone else. It's people that have been diagnosed with AIDS and haven't been have all the illnesses. Those that are on Meds have to watch other things like liver enzymes, cholesterol and triglycerides levels but other than that nothing out of the ordinary.
That's because you are a non-progressor, right? Most people who have HIV have serious cases of illness or they can have within 4 years or so. Does that varry also?
what's with the numbers added to your name?
I don't catch cold any easier than people that are negative. I don't have problems healing when cut. Nothing is any different than when I was negative.
