You responded to one of my question in September of '08. My Mother's BNP level is even higher now, and her doctor has indicated that she is VERY fragile. I have just reviewed your answer to my previous question. Thanks much.
I appreciate this information.
I am by no means a Dr or RN however I have delt with BNP levels in the past. It is my understanding that as the heart fails it secrets bnp (do not remember what that stands for) Normal bnp is below 100 and levels of 100-300 indicate heart failure, which you already know is going on with your Mother. I am very sorry to hear about your mother, I hope that she goes in peace and am glad that you have hospice to help. I hope this information helps a little bit.
