Cheat and neck pain

For 4 days now I have been having mild chest pain with a heavy feeling in the upper center part of my chest. Also along with this has been pain in my neck arteries. This has been constant and not stopping nor changing degree of pain...not even when walking , sitting or lying down. It continues till I fall a sleep and starts back the moment I awake.

1 week ago my twin sister of 41 yrs. died suddenly due to a massive heart attack from 3 clogged arteries, but was at the er 3 times in 3 months and was never diagnosed with heart problems, this was concluded in the autopsy and that it was genetic and her siblings should be checked out.

I have been pretty calm these last few days and it still persist. I guess dibelief is setting in that so soon after her I could be having symptoms.

My condolences, Nanette, for the loss of your sister. See your doctor and inform the circumstances of your sister's passing.

There may have been a rupture of a vessel from soft plaque (plaque between the layers of the vessels) and not seen with tests performed.  An CT scan angioplasty could have possibly seen the build up of plaque or a cath with ultrasound.  Nevertheless, you should have a heart healthy diet, exercise, don't smoke, etc.  Take care.
