If I were in your place, I would want to look at what were the two blood-thinners in the study and whether the patients were on both blood-thinners plus Omega-3 supplementation at the same time.

My Cardiologist had me on all three products when I was really struggling with CAD, but after bypass surgery, I'm now only taking 81 mg aspirin. I have a problem with thin skin that will tear easily, my cholesterol is under control and he suggests I simply eat salmon at least once a week, easy to to where I live. Both Plavix and fish oil have been withdrawn. I try and eat salmon I catch or wild, troll-caught salmon, and avoid farm-raised salmon.
Yes as far as I am aware omega oils are great for many things in the body, including the circulatory system. However, I'm not sure about taking pills, I'm not a great believer in supplements. I firmly believe the body much prefers to remove goodness from foods, and it's very good at it. I would just eat omega rich foods. It seems to be becoming a trend where people read about what happens if you are low in certain nutrients, so they push tons of pills into their stomach believing the more the merrier. (I'm not aiming this at you personally, I'm just saying in general). Every time I read the newspaper, magazine, look at the internet, there are ads everywhere saying how you will benefit from vitamin, mineral and oil supplements. If you lack something it's simply because your diet isn't balanced enough. Omega is easy to top up from foods.
I would be very careful with that, because it would put you on three different anti-platelet agents at the same time. I would only do something like that with a doctor's approval and supervision. Good luck.
