Feels like my body shutting down

Hi a year ago I was diagnosed with cardiomopathy, it was really tough for a while because I felt every symptom, well for the last couple of months I have been feeling better, not out of breath as much, but all the sudden everything seems to be falling apart,i woke up with a horrible pain on my right side near my sturnm near my breast, pain in shoulder blade,it hurt sooo bad to breath in. I have had it off and on but not that bad,it didnt feel like my heart so I thought it was my lung,as the day went on the pain went to my back so went to er to be safe, they did an xray and ekg and blood and itall was good, its been a week the pain has let up so I just thought it wad a lung infection, one last time went to another doc and they did an ultasound and the called and said right kidney is to small to be fuctioning, but why is my lung hurting so bad, about the same time my back teeth on both side swoll up, I have to go get an mri, but no one can tell me why my heart, lungs, kidneys are messing up and infection in my body, has anyone ever had this? I have never done drugs I eat so good and take care of myself..or so I thought, anyone know what could this be.

How much blood work has been done? Have they treated you with any antibiotics in case this is a type of staph?  It is curious that the doctors admit something is wrong but they have left you wondering. If the heart is okay, what other organs have they tested? The chest pain you describe could be pleuresy or costoconditis.

This is a copied search:

"Pleurisy is the inflammation of the pleura - the lining around the lung (between the lungs and ribs) to reduce friction associated with the movement of lungs inflating/deflating. This is usually an acute condition associated with a virus.
Costochondritis is the inflammation of the joint where the cartilage (between the ribs and the sternum) attaches to bone. This often can be a chronic condition similiar to arthritis."

But then I wouldn't think it would be associated with your kidney. Is it possible the problem with your kidney was there before, just not diagnosed?

Do you have more tests scheduled and are you following up with your doctor?  Keep us posted and know that we are here to unload on, but like the other poster said, there are too many possibilites to give you an accurate response. And we are not trained like your doctors are.  Best to you. Ally

Too many possibilities to even begin mentioning. You're probably going to need several more tests and some visits to specialists. Now I believe if you're having any symptoms that could possibly be related to the heart, get that taken care of first. At least have the heart ruled out.
