PAXIL WITHDRAVAL please help

I have been on Paxil 80mg yes goes that far to the maximum. Went to Homewood to get off and because I was severely depressed. I did 12 ECT's and I think that helped me to wean me off and Doc was  replacing it with Zoloft slowly in course of month and half. Still went through hell and still am. I am on 150 Zoloft and 20 Paxil now, 3 weeks it has been after Homewood . Yesturday I experienced severe chest pain, tightness of chest. Even I took Pindolol  which reduces Blood pressure (Beta Blocker) 10 mg and 20 mg of valium in the morning for anxiety and IT NEVER HELPED and my blood pressure was still high. Now I read  Paxil withdrawal narrows Blood Vessels and it increases or releases cholesterol and can do many dangerous things to cardiovascular system and can be deadly. What the HEK DO I DO ????

There is also a Depression forum on this site.  Both it and this Heart Disease forum are peer support sites, as Flycaster mentions.  There are Doctor Forums on here as well, though, where you may be able to get a physician to answer your question.  I haven't tried any of the Doctor Forums, so I don't know the details of that, but if you're interested, click Forums above and then Doctor Forums.  Good luck.

This is probably a better question to ask of your doctors, this is a support board and may or may not be answered by health professionals.

You need to be evaluated for the chest pain, and you should consider doing a much slower taper off of the Paxil.  Paxil is a hard one to get off of.  It might take a long time to get off of it completely.  I'm sorry you are suffering so much.
