Chest pains associated with musculoskeletal injury are typically sharp and confined to a specific area of the chest. They may be brought on by movement of the chest and/or arms into certain positions, and often are relieved by changing position. These pains can be triggered by pushing on part of the chest and often become worse when taking a deep breath. These pains usually last only seconds, but can persist for days.
There is something I know I will never spell it correctly. It is Chrondritis. With open heart surgery or with a car crash and the rib bones connected to the back bone are disturbed the pain in this condition and it takes a while to subside.
We are both referring costochondritis.
Thanks for your valuable advise. please tell me. is it rquired any treatment for costochondritis? or how long this pain will persist and what is the remedies to cure this disease like any yoga...etc.
your help is appreciated.

The most common cause of costochondritis that can be attributed to a source is costochondritis as the result of a traumatic injury. Repetitive minor trauma has also been proposed as the most likely cause.
The prognosis for patients with costochondritis is excellent. After 1 year, about half of the patients may still have some discomfort while approximately one third report tenderness with palpation
For many patients, it can be frustrating to know that there's little that doctor can do to treat their costochondritis associated pain. To help relieve the pain caused by costochondritis, patient should try to:
• Rest more and avoid activities that make pain worse.
• Exercise more. Although it may seem contradictory to rest it is proven that gentle exercises, such as walking or swimming, can improve your mood and keep your body healthy.
Hope this gives you some insight to your problem. Take care.
