SVT Problems

I have a big problem.. and apparently noone has heard of this happening so i saw that a lot of people had the same problem that me so i'm wondering if anyone can help. When I was 19 I was diagnosed with SVT - apparently a lot of people have this condition but mine was severe where they thought it turned into a heart attack so i took my doctors advise and had the Av Ablation surgery (apparently a fairly simple - non invasive - non painful surgery). I was in severe pain the whole surgery and now in turn ever since have had severe chest pain. No pain killers worked - have tried every alternative therapy i could think of or been suggested to but nothing works. I have gone to a fair few cardiologists who just stick up for eachother and say i'm crazy - very professional hey!. I'm now 20  going on 21 on a pain killer similar to morphine and that is the only thing that'll help me. My Gp thinks that during the procedure they caused nerve damage but i can't find a cardiologist who will either confirm or deny this. Has anyone else has this problem if so what did you do that helped fix it??
Thanks

Thanks for the comment - I haven't posted it on there but i will. I had the ablation in October 2008 so it's going on 18 months, and still having severe pain. That's what they think might've happened as during the procedure i was in excrutiating pain 90% of the time - and they told me it would be a painless procedure. Unfortunately i think if they've damage to a nerve or anything I don't think there will be much they can do to repair it but hopefully i can find some answers on this board :)

Have you also posted this on the arrhythmia board? Perhaps someone there has had this experience. I've had 3 ablations, never had much pain during the procedure and only fatigue and a dull ache afterwards. How long has it been since your ablation? A year or more? Most discomfort eases off in a month. Never heard of having pain unless they had an accident during the procedure like poking a catheter through the vessel and that's very rare.
