Torn heart muscle

My son informed us this morning that the doctor suspects that our daughter-in-law has a torn heart muscle and that it could be the onset of a heart attack.  I'm not sure if he did any tests or on what he bases his diagnoses.  He gave her anti-inflammatory tablets and said she should be admitted to hospital if the pain does not go away.  I'm a bit confused here, anti-inflammatory tablets for the possible onset of a heart attack?  Thanks for your response

Torn heart muscle? never heard of it. Myocardial rupture can occur after a serious heart attack, and this would require immediate surgery. It doesn't seem right to put someone on anti inflammatory meds and leave them to get on with it. Get her to the hospital and have some proper tests.
