Weakness after exercise

Hi,
I'm not sure I'm posting this into the right area, but here goes:
Had glandular fever (mono) for the last couple of years but recovered since about Oct/Nov. last.  Due to lots of health problems during that same time I've also been diagnosed with underactive thyroid, hiatal hernia and athlete's asthma.   Used to take regular exercise however had to give it all up for the past 2 years: trying to get back to it now I'm healthy again.  My problem is that since I started exercising I've started to feel really weak, sometimes for days afterwards (pale along with it) and once almost fainted during exercise.   Had already noticed before I started back exercising that every few weeks I was overly tired no matter how much sleep I got, but this has been replaced by feeling weak and shaky, generally rotten and sometimes abnormally cold inside my body even though it's not cold around me since I started back exercising.  By 'exercise' I just mean long fairly fast walks as opposed to flat-out jogs etc.  - i.e. I don't believe I'm overdoing it as sometimes I can feel it come on even just after a 20-30 minute walk and it can stay with me for days.  Don't believe it's due to dehydration or lack of food or anything like that.  I take Eltroxin daily for my thyroid but try not to use the Symbicort (asthma) or Zoton (hernia) medication at all - only when I feel I need it which is rare.   Don't want to go back to my GP until I've some idea what may be causing it as I've already been tested to within an inch of my life these last couple of years.  Desperate to get back to being fit again so any ideas you have of the cause would be much appreciated!
