angiogram vs cardiac cath

Why would a cardiologist do an angiogram and give a report of a 30% blockage and two weeks later do a cardiac cath and give a report of 89% blockage in the LAD? Why would an angiogram not show this?

I wonder if you are confusing an Angiogram with a Stress Test. A Stress tests usually precedes an Angiogram (Heart Cath).
