chest pain and only 32

I been having chest pain for over a week now. I went to see my cardiologist and he prescribed me Renexa. My chest still hurts and i feel like my blood is rushing through my body, almost as if i would be in a roller coaster.

What can be going on with me? I feel really weak.

Renexa is a nitrate and should relieve your chest pain and that would indicate the chest pain is due to a heart condition.  However, a heart issue could be concomitant with another condition that causes chest pains, and you should contact your doctor for the chest pain and feeling of weakness.

I take a nitrate (isosorbide) for chest pain (angina) and that controls any angina I would have without the medication.  Hope this helps, and thanks for the question.  Take care,

Ken
