Minor Chest Pain

Hi all, I'm new here so forgive me if I've reposted something very similar..

I'm 19 and have had minor chest pains on and off for some time now (3 years) by on and off I mean weeks apart if not months. Recently it's come right back at me only it seems to be continuous and it is within the area of my heart.

I have to say that my diet isn't exaclty balanced and I refrain from eating veg and eat very little fruit. So it's pretty poor. However I don't want to rule everything out just yet simply because my diet is not all that great.

Sometimes I can feel the strain on this area if I make a quick movement such as simply stretching, and it's slight when I am just resting. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

Thanks for reading, it's much appreciated..
-Mike

Well I met with my doctor this morning and he belives it to be the same, I have an appointment to have an ECG anyway just to make sure.

Thanks for your feedback, it has made me a little more confident that things will be A-Okay. Again it's much appreciated.

I agree, it sounds like muscle.

Sounds like muscoskeletal to me, any time you make a quick movement and you feel pain either its your muscles or the cartilage in the ribs. Doesnt sound like heart at all.
