low lt ventricular output, possible past mi

recently had a stress test which indicated that i had an mi in the past.  my ef rate is currently 35% to 40% upon min. activity.  I was also told that i have total lbb.  prior to the test i was dx'd with hypothyroidism which has been resolved with medication.  Could the abdnormal thyroid levels affect the stress tests?  If not what questions or treatments should i be discussing with my md.  Am on several cardiac meds at this time including a alfa and beta blocker.
4 years ago i had bypass surgery for subclavian steel syndrome.  any help would be appreciated.  am trying to educate myself as much as possible.
thanks

EF 35-40% is consistant with slight heart cell damage.  Medication especially beta blocker, and thyroid disorder, etc. can affect stress tests..
