hi
I had an echo which suggested possible diastolic dysfunction.
I have now had a myocardial perfusion scan and these are the results:-
mild reversibility in anterior wall although study is compromised by breast attenuation artefact. No evidence of significant ischemia But her symptoms are typical angina so needs to be seen again.
Background
Started SOB(short of breath) on exertion then had chest pain with it few weeks later( went hosp as arm pain still there) blood test came back positive for clot- couldn't find one in lungs.
After a major operation started then in routine after a while and my chest pain was with SOB and happening more. Got referred for tests.
NOW
Still got the symptoms but getting more shortness breath on mild activity, very fatigued all time(came on sudden) and legs swollen and painful. (keeps me awake sometimes even with tubigrip on, have to keep it on as helps)
QUESTION
What does scan mean- re mild reversibility etc?
