questions to ask please : on medication interactions

hi : im taking verapamil 100mg a day regular release pill-  im allergic to most dieuretics so im on spirolactone 25mg
per day single pill - went to cardio doctor 4 months ago he added bystolic at 2.5 mg daily  said it would lower h.rate
and keep b.p in check. and to take it with verapamil and spiroactone daily wont hurt a thing. after 2months on it started getting nightmares and vivid dreams -waking up suddenly with rapid heart beats -and super high b.p readings - and a internal jittering feeling threwout my body -that only happend when sleeping or laying down? -due to this last month he added to the brew or mix -to take verapamil at 40mg with clonidine o.1 mg at 1/2 pill per night
ok it helps for a few hours but still wont stop the night mares or dreams and jitters ! - I looked up interactions on a few sites -it reads dont mix or take bystolic with verapamil very clear ! and clonidine as well.  - now im wondering why in the world would a good cardio doctor do this ?  I am now because he threw up his arms, and will not help me
as he is stumped over it - will stop the bystolic first - and then clonidine 2nd  to see if the jitters will stop and my nervious system will releax !  im ok and feel normal when awake in the daytime ?  no jitters happen?  but mostly feel dumpy and tired and I get sick feeling - iv been on verapamil for 6years now - and I can no longer take the sr or  slow release extended release pills -as they no longer seem to work .. and side effects happen more so than before.  but the normal 80mg verapamil pills work fine ?   other than my ankles swell up and foot tops.. from it.

I can't seem to get help on this matter from any Doctor or even Pharm employees.   they all say get off the bystolic first and then clonidine 2nd .. I also have melanoma and just had a pet scan today.. and wasnt at ease takeing the scan .. plus I got sick from the injection and ended up with blood pressure rageing high and dizzyness .. and also
pukey feeling afterwords..   im not a happy camper these days..  as one can tell from this posting ..

3 cardio doctors here in l.a.  not one would help me ! they just say I dont know ? and want to hand more pills to take !!   meaning to me .. more side effects and interactions !  its gotta stop !
