need some help trouble breathing at night

for a while now ive been having some trouble breathing at night im not sure what it is .... im kinda freaking out im a little bit of a paranoid .. I will be sleeping at night and then out of nowhere I start to feel like im not getting enough air and when I sit up I feel fine .... im scared it might be heart failure but I don't know it might be acid reflux . sometimes I will get this out of breath feeling then I force myself to burp then it goes away and this whole breathing thing comes and goes I can go weeks without having this problem im 24 years old I don't having any swelling in the legs or weakness that I can tell any clue as to what this may be

You might try googling two things to see if you recognize anything similar to what you're experiencing:

1. Sleep apnea

2. Nocturnal panic attack

try taking some anti acid medication before going to sleep. Gaviscon would be a great start.
