stressball heart

I feel like someone is sqeezing my heart several often sometimes several times a day. Some days worse than others. It feels like my heart is one of those stress balls people use. It is very strong at times. I have had a stress test w/ the dye and everything was fine....I have a heart murmur( nothing serious) and also my heart gets out of rythm sometimes. I am 53 yr old female... my mother had a heart attack at the age of 60 and my brother had one at the age of 40 and then a fatal heart attackl at the age of 51. Thanks for any advice you can give me

Sorry, I meant mom 655 instead of stressball heart.  Also, if you meant the stess test w/dye is the angiogram, then please disregard the previous post. Best wishes.

Stress test even w/dye is not always accurate. You can have a false negative. With your family history I would ask the Doc to do an angiogram or you can also go for a second opinoin.  Just my thoughts.  Good luck.

The symptoms could be related to heart spasms of the coronary artery system.  The condition may not be diagnosed with the tests you have been given unless the symptom occurs during the test. The stress test would be with perfusion to evaluate if there is any induced ischemia (blockage).

Hope this helps, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond. Take care,

Ken
