A-Fib and SVT

Iam curious are there people who have one of these two conditions and still excercise or are still athletes ?

All,

Still, keep an eye on the maximum HR you are running when working out, and if it gets too high (approximately 220 - age, is too high even if young).  If your HR gets too high, slow down... that's how I see it, and my cardiologist agrees for my permanent AFib condition.

I have both and take beta blockers.  I exercise probably 5 or 6 days a week.  I do cardio workouts, strength training, free weights and yoga.  I don't guess I qualify as an athlete but I do pretty good workouts.  At first I was terrified when my heart rate went up and I must admit that there are still times it kinda bothers me.  But I'm trying really hard not to let this control my life.
