Passing out

Hello Everyone,

Typically when i pass out because of an arrythmia, I wake up as soon as I hit the ground. But last week, my co-workers told me I was unconscious for between 20-30 seconds.  That seems like a long time to me, but my cariodiologist reassures me it is a normal response to my fast heart rate.  Do any of you also have similar stories of passing out for this length of time?

Josie

No, I haven't but had a neighbor who did and she was told she cannot drive her car.  That is why I asked you that question.

I hope you get help soon.

Good luck!

Yes my driving restriction is for 3 months after each episode - but because the episodes are closer than 3 months apart, I haven't had my lisence for just over a year.

Barbarella, do you/have you had been in a similar situation with passing out because of an arrhythmia for 20-30 seconds or longer?

Thanks, Josie

Did your Cardiologist say anything about you driving a car with these pass out spells?
