A lap-choli is a laparoscopic gallbladder removal.
I suffer from tachy and PAC's. I am 37 and take a beta-blocker to slow my HR down. I had a lap chole the summer of 2008. They ran 5 EKG's on me in recovery and when I got back to my room I freaked out b/c my heart was pounding so hard and my HR was 118. I feel like it was the anesthesia that caused a lot of those problems and the doctors agreed. All of the EKG's showed only PAC's and my cardio came in before the surgeon would release me. He said remember these (PAC's) are benign, and they are not going to harm you. I have a close friend who has recently discovered he has a very low heart rate and does need meds to get that rate back up. Keep us posted on what the dr. says.
A HR as low as 38 should be examined by a cardiologist to determine if there is any immediate danger. I don't know what a "lap-choli" is so I can't relate to that.
A low BP and HR would cause dizziness, even fainting in most of us. Do you have any of those problems? Or are you low BP and HR very short lived, are they more typical normally?
