I throw well over 5000+ pvc's in a days time. They are strong pvc's also, the ones where you feel the pause and the a HUGE THUMP!! With a cardio work up, and a diagnoses of a structurally normal heart, there is little doctors can do for you. You can try beta blockers, supplements, exercise, anti-anxiety meds, etc. etc. the list goes on forever. More than likely your stuck with them. If your lucky they will go away by themselves :o)
I would try to forget about them, and go on with your life. I know that is hard, because I have had them for years and I have not been able to forget about them. They literally are ruining my life, but hey im not here to complain. Get well soon!
Does it feel like it is pausing or skipping a beat? If so I been prone to having them a lot recently. I feel also the skip or clenching-like sensation in my throat. Really freaked me out. Scary. I know how you feel. I did some research and found many people with theses symptoms (and there are legions of people with the same symptoms - if that helps) started taking magnesium supplements. I did the same after a recent terrible bout, along with various other supplements from a place called Standard Process, and it seems to have suppressed the episodes big time. Look into it if nothing else works. Not promising anything, but its worth a shot.
I'm not recalling fully at the moment, but I think the number 1786, assumed in a 24 hour period, i.e., Holter normal period, isn't a troubling high number. Remember, at an average HR of 75, say, there are 108,000 beats in a 24 hour period, so the pvc is less than 2%.
Perhaps others will be able to give you some personal numbers, expertise. I do not suffer from PVC, but thought I'd jump in as I'm on the site at the moment.
Good luck.
