Showed I had a small leakage in a heart valve he said to not be concerned it is normal he said the echo was very sensitive and could catch the slightest drip said mine was nothing to worry about? My heart contrasts(squeezes) at 50% normal is 40 so he said that was good..he also diagnosed me with chronic sinitus an I'm taking prescribed Claritin(today) so I believe that could be upping my Bp too....
A BP of 160/85 should be treated I believe, but it isn't immediately dangerous.. I think you've got weeks or months to get it under control without it doing any real damage.
If you echo says your heart is physically normal I would not worry about an EKG reading interpretation that the wall thickness is a problem. An EKG just "sees" the electrical signals, I do not believe it can measure the thickness. An echo can measure that as well as other physical aspects. If the echo didn't see any abnormal chamber size, then that is an indication your BP isn't yet causing any unhealthy enlargement of your heart, one of the concerns with high blood pressure.
