Hello I'm 22 with hypertension I'm currently taking Losartan 100mg/hctz 25mg to try and maintain a decent reading. Today I played football (flag) for 2 hours straight, I played pretty hard, my Heart rate when I got home was 93...then I checked it an hour later it was 88 then 2 hours total since I played it was is still at 86....my normal resting Hr varies from higher 50's-70...is this ok it's taking this long to return? I've not played that hard in months...please reply thanks and god bless

How low and how fast your heart rate come down all depends on how long and how hard you are working out. I'd say that the numbers you are providing are more than reasonable for a person who had been sprinting up and down a field for 2 hours. Technically so long as your heart comes down below 100 it's normal.
