Is palpations related to thyroid

I have not been on here in awhile. I went to the cardiologist on March 9th and really came out not feeling any better about my heart racing and skipping beats. I am on metoporol tart and I feel it has made me feel worse. I just went through  a week and a half with out hardly and skipping and no racing and last night I woke up to it racing and skipping. My mother feels like I should have a complete thyroid check-up because I have so many symptoms of  a hypothyroid . They checked my thyroid at the Dr. and said it was fine so I am going to an endocronoligist. Does anyone have this problem?

Yes, I am hypothyroid and PSVT. Endo says she has a few "freaks" ( sorry anyone) who are NOT hyperthyroid, but hypo and have the palps and tachycardia. I say it is the conditions are related...never had a heart problem til thryoid problem....
Make sure they test TSH AND  Free T4, Free T3, antibodies too.( My TSH is normal range but Free T's all very low, below normal).
Good luck.

I have hypothyroid and I do get pvc's and pac's. I also have a history of a-fib and flutter which I had an ablation done in January 08. I do know that "hyperthyroid" can cause palps. I have been told by both a cardio and endo doctors that hypothyroid usually does not cause palps. But between you and me I think it does.
