sorry I didn't answer, haven't been here for a while ;) I live in Australia and order my fish oil and my magnesium from Golden Glow (goldenglow.com.au). ITem code 5804 (fish oil) and 5764 (Magnesium). Not sure though if they also deliver overseas? Just have a look. all the best!
I have GERD. Where do you get your enteric coated (reflux free) fish oil and what is the name of it? I'd like to get some.
I'm 49 and have had pvc's since I was 35 yrs. I've gone through all the stages, stress (what's wrong with me), depression (nobody can help!), despair (how can I live with this), anger (why does this happen to me), fight (I'll find a way), some kind of acceptance (hmmm, still working on this one at times ;). The fact is, they are probably here to stay, the skips... but in my case, I am happy to report I have found 1. this web site (thank god, there are others) and 2. a way to keep them a bay, with taking 2x fish oil a day, 2x magnesium, and sometimes Vitamin B6. the fish oil is great, it has changed my life! I can strongly recommend it, give it a try, it takes a few weeks to kick in, but boy oh boy, did I feel a difference. Take an enteric coated reflux free fish oil. And by the way, I always have more pvcs shortly before and during my period. Good luck to you, we all know how you feel right now!
:) I am so thankful I have found this website. Thank you all so much for responding!
My PACs seem to have become worse in the past few years and I just went through menopause. I would not be surprised if there is a connection. but since we can't stop menopause, I am looking at other options for relief.
Of course, start with reducing caffeine, alcohol, and stress.
I've read that omega 3 fish oil, potassium, magnesium and taurine all play a part in heart rhythm so I am researching those nutritional remedies as well as herbs.
As far as I know, there's no cure for PACs/PVCs, so all we can do is try to control them. If there was a magic pill out there, we would probably know by now, so in the meantime, ask your doc about food and/or supplement options. Thats the path I'm on until they figure this annoying thing out!!! Good luck and know you are not alone.
I can understand how you feel, I have alot of pvc's daily, I have recently went on a beta blocker and have received some relief. I still get them just not every minute.
I have been reading up on perimenopause and the hormone connection between menopause and palpitations, unfornately it seems to be something you need to ride out until hormones calm down.
Have you tried a beta blocker?
You have come to the right website you will find comfort from all of us going through the same thing.
I had doctors tell me the same thing but I can definitely say that my PVCs and PACS were made worse by hormones. When I became perimenopausal my symptoms became much worse. I am now in menopause and they haven't gotten any better. I am taking a beta blocker, bystolic, which has helped calm them down. You may want to ask your cardiologist if you could try one. And I'm sure you know, the more you stress and worry about them the worse they get. So try not to worry, if PVCs killed people we would have all been dead a long time ago. Take care.
