Pain in left hand, fingers and pressure and pain in left side of chest.

Hi,

I m 27 year male having Pain in left hand, fingers and pressure and pain in left side of chest since one and half month. My Triglycerides are 221 and VLDL is 44. All other cardiac and lipid profile tests are normal and ecg is also normal. More I have family history of cardiac diseases.

My vote is that you should be checked for a possible sciatic nerve issue...sounds like alot of the symtoms that you are posting points to that...you may want to google it out and see if you symtoms match...sounds like they may.......

Hello~Well, I think I would see another doc about this, given the fact your family has heart disease history and your lipid panel numbers are on the higher side, I would get things checked, chest pain is nothing to play with. However, you have had it over a month, and the EKG is normal, so, you don't have to run to another doc right away, but, still, think about a second opinion. I like to err on the side of safety.
