Palpitations and high heart rate

Hi All, I am a diabetic for 4 years and last year in March , while lifting weights in gym, i started having pain in the left side and shortness of breadth. 1st I did not notice but pain did not go away even after 2 weeks so I went to doctor .Turned out I had Troponin level at 0.15 and ECG was fine. Anyway I asked to do stress test and Nuclear MIBI ,EKG etc etc and all came back normal, so doctor released me without any medication. However I started having shortnes of breadth and chest pain on and off . Sometimes i am just sitting in my room and Palpitations start .On some days I feel Palpitations all day and chest pain as well.I have checked my heart rate quite often and Pulse is mostly around 100 and higher whenever i am having palpitations  however BP is mostly normal. Recently I started having a sort of panic attacks. In that my heart starts racing , eyes slightly out of focus , little shaky and feel weak as well. Just yesterday , I had to write an exam and when I walked into the exam room, i had this episode , it lasted over an hour  i was completely conscious but was shaky, lightheaded, heart racing and chest pain. I can understand soe amount of stress due to exam but this was extremely painful and new phenomonon with  me.Any ideas ?

Sorry no one has answered you. Sounds like a full blown panic attack to me since your cardiac tests were good. They often come with the exact symptoms you described even the chest pain. I've had them forever and now just know how to talk myself down from them but in the beginning I needed meds and talk therapy. You may want to look into that side of things
