I have been diagnosed with hypertension and coronary artery disease, For the past week, i have been experiencing un normal tiredness, weakness and funny feelings with my heart/ What could be the cause?
Were you put on medication for the hypertension? Beta blockers would cause you to feel weak and tired. They prevent your body from producing adrenaline. The funny feelings could also be a reaction to medication, or simple anxiety from acknowleging that you have a problem. You'll benefit from diet and lifestyle changes regardless. Being thouroughly tested by a cardiologist is a good idea too. I developed similar anxiety from realizing that my cholesterol and BP were elevated. As I wsent through tests and realized I wasn't in as bad of shape as I was assuming, the funny felings went away.
You may want to post this in the heart diseas forum since more than likely you will find others dealing with the same thing as you. You are welcome here too, I was just thinking they may have more to offer. :) If you have heart disease, the funny feelings in your heart need to be evaluated by a cardiologist because rythm issues can be dangerous in that setting at times.
