abnormal heart rythum

It has been over a month I have been experiencing heart rates in the 50's and 40's with the following symtoms, neausea, light headedness, weakness and blurred vision. I have done the following test:- MRI of the brain, EKG (which confirmed the rate, but says normal), thyroid test,  and to check the level of my red blood cells and they all say normal.

I am still experiencing the light headedness and the other symtoms have passed, I am not on any medicatons and my heart rate is still fluctuating. I have not been able to attend work since it has started. Can you give some advice as to what to do next or what is happeing here.

Very concerned.

An EKG otherwise normal with a low rate isn't really normal usually unless you are an athlete as athletes hearts are more efficient. I'm a medic, but I'm no doctor, so I think you really need to see a cardiologist about this. However, I do know that when the heartrate is so low your blood pressure typically goes down as well. This usually means you feel really yucky with nausea, dizziness and the like. The palpitations can be felt with a lot of different things, usually fast heart rate, PVCs, or PACs. Your doctor would be able to tell you what they are from. One EKG does not seem like enough to me. A holter monitor or an event monitor would probably be of great help in finding out what is really going on.

this is a consistant rate for the past two month. I am either traveling in the vehicle when I get palputations, or most times when I am walking around walking. Seldon it is when I am sitting. When I go to rest is drops to the 40's.

A rate in the 40's and 50's is low for most people. It could be a lot of things. What are you usually doing when it happens and how often does it happen?
