Jim, before I can give you an educated guess, I need to know more about your symptoms.  Just how "fast" is your heart rate.  You need to measure it and get back here.  Also give me other symptoms of what you're feeling.

If your racing heart is due to some electrical problem within your heart, it's not "heart disease".  My heart at one time was in superb condition, and yet I had an electrical problem.

RIght now, I'd say that if you don't abuse you body with somking, drugs or alcohol and are in reasonably good shape for 35, chances are that you don't have heart disease, but some other condition.

Anxiety or heart disease is always a tought question since anxiety sufferers and 'worriers' are naturally likely to fear heart problems.  Ultimately I think you have to ask that of the doctor and have the appropriate tests done.  If everything comes back negative (which it sounds like it has for you), there comes a point where one does have to chalk it up to anxiety, face the fear and move on with life.

Heart problems are nothing to take lightly so it is not advisable to initially assume it's anxiety.  But if the doctor says your fine, at some point you have to trust them and trust that you're fine and tackle the anxiety issue.
